Terms of Service
The agreement between you and WeaveSpec while you use the product.
Last updated: August 4, 2026
1. Acceptance
By requesting access to or using WeaveSpec, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Early access
WeaveSpec is in early access. That means the following, plainly:
- Access is granted by request and may be declined or withdrawn at our discretion.
- The product is free during this period. Nothing on the site is for sale yet.
- Features can change or be removed, quotas can change, and the service carries no uptime commitment or support response time.
- Before we introduce paid plans, we will tell you what changes and give you the chance to export your documents or stop using the service.
3. Accounts, roles and seats
Your workspace is an account, and projects live inside it. You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details, for keeping your sign-in credentials secure, for the people you invite, and for everything done under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
Roles decide what a member may do. Owners and admins manage the account; members do the work; viewers can read everything a member reads but cannot start an analysis, generate a document or start a chat turn. Do not share one account between several people.
4. Your repositories and connected tools
You may only connect repositories and tools you own or are authorised to connect, and you are responsible for having that authorisation. Our GitHub access is read-only: WeaveSpec does not modify, commit to or open pull requests against your code.
Where we do write — Jira issues, for example — we write only what you have explicitly approved. You can disconnect a repository or an integration at any time, which stops all further access to it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone's rights through the service.
- Connect repositories or data you have no right to analyse.
- Attempt to access another customer's account, project or data.
- Probe, scan, overload or otherwise interfere with the platform's integrity.
- Upload malicious code, or use the service to build or distribute it.
- Circumvent quotas, seat limits or the access gate.
- Resell the service or use it to build a directly competing product.
6. Generated output
WeaveSpec produces drafts with a large language model. Output can be incomplete or wrong, and it cites the files and commits behind it precisely so that a human can check it. You are responsible for reviewing anything before you ship it, file it or make a decision on it. We give no warranty that generated documents are accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose.
7. Ownership
You keep all rights to your repositories, your data and the documents generated from them. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service: to read, process and store that content in order to produce the output you asked for.
We keep all rights to the WeaveSpec platform itself — the software, design, brand and documentation. These terms grant you no rights to it beyond using the service.
8. Availability and liability
The service is provided "as is" and, during early access, without any service level commitment. To the maximum extent the law allows, WeaveSpec is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, lost revenue or lost data arising from your use of the service.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using WeaveSpec and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if your use threatens the platform or other users, or if we are required to by law. Except where a breach makes it impossible, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your documents first.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you before they take effect; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them.
Questions about these terms: [email protected].
