What is WeaveSpec?
WeaveSpec is an automated product planning and technical specification platform. We help software engineering teams, product managers, and tech leaders bridge product intent with real repository context—generating comprehensive, evidence-backed PRDs, technical architecture designs, and synced Jira tasks.

How we build it
A tool that reads every repository a company owns has to be worth that access. These are the rules we hold ourselves to.
Read, never write
WeaveSpec reads your repositories to understand them. It does not commit, push or open pull requests. The one place it writes is Jira, and only the issues you have approved.
Every claim carries its evidence
A generated document points at the files, lines and commits behind it. You should be able to check any sentence in it without trusting us, and a draft nobody can verify is a draft nobody should ship.
Built for the people who plan, not only those who code
A product manager should get an implementable PRD without reading a repository. Technical detail is there for the people who want it, never a toll gate for the people who do not.
Boundaries you can audit
Tenant isolation is enforced in the database, not just the UI. Roles decide who can spend. The audit log is append-only — not even we can edit it.
We are early, and we say so
WeaveSpec is in early access. It is free, access is granted by request, and a person reads every request. If your product spans more repositories than any one person can hold in their head, we would like to hear about it.
